Private Prenatals

Guiding you through what you need to know—and what others wish they’d known—about physiological birth, navigating the medicalized birth system, advocating for yourself, recognizing labor signs and managing labor effectively, involving your partner, understanding your providers’ roles, and what to expect during those first precious moments with your infant. Private education gives clients a chance to get hands on and learn about the intricacies of infant care.

Foundations of Newborn Care

Personalized education and guidance on essential topics like breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, diapering, sleep routines, and soothing techniques. We will cover newborn health and safety, safe sleep practices, and proper infant handling. Sessions are tailored to the parents’ specific needs, offering practical demonstrations and answering questions to help them feel confident and empowered in caring for their newborn.

Post Partum Preparation

We’ll go over everything from preparing post partum care baskets in each bathroom to reviewing and setting realistic expectations and dividing household tasks. All before doing 2 weeks of meal prep!

Harbour Doula helps you prepare for and settle into your postpartum routine. Preparing for the fourth trimester is essential, and we’re here to support you through it. This in-home visit takes place around 37 weeks to ensure you’re ready to embrace this special time!
